I have so much to say yet am speechless.
After 22 months of campaigning, Barack Obama was just named the projected winner of the 2008 U.S. presidential election.
After 40 years of reaping the fruits of the Civil Rights Movement, we can finally see the change we were promised.
After 200-plus years of freedom for blacks, a man who has both black and white blood running through his veins will lead this country into the future.
And as I write this entry, Sen. John McCain is conceding defeat.
There is so much more to say … so much more to write about. But for now, this is time to reflect on this moment in history.
We did it. We ALL did it.
